(He/Him)
Hopeful Dreamer
As a child I have always dreamed of new worlds (futures, fantasies, dystopic, utopic, protopian). Using all tools available to make those worlds visible.
As I grew older, the desire to create worlds did not disappear. In fact, it transformed into an activist desire to imagine worlds that everyone could support. The dream is to turn that childlike imagination into action.
In 2045, I'm working on a way to harness spatial computing for a more inclusive and sustainable reality. We live in a wold where diversity is continuously growing, now with other species also inhabiting our world. Space is a concept that has changed drastically over the years. Physical space grew because of our enhanced way of spatial travel through out the galaxy. Also the physical world and metaphysical world have never been closer together. Nowadays we can access our digital space and identities in more ways then just our devices. It is indistinguishable of the physical one.
What does this mean for us? How can these new ways of communication help us in a way that enhances the connection instead of creating more fear. And what does it mean for our living situations? How does this have an effect on how we design our living spaces?
I’m using art and technology to connect people and help them navigate these spaces in a free, safe and open source way.
I’ve been involved in multiple projects about the future over housing and living together. Because of the ongoing situation where space is scares and CO2 neutral building is mandatory, the need to evolve our way of living is necessary. Therefore I decided to experiment with old and new ideas and technology. I created a community where we rediscovered nomadic living by creating modular houses. The technology in the community played a vital role in creating connection between it’s inhabitants.
A little stubborn, open minded, play
Impulsive, Little naïve, Follows through
Everything is gonna be alright if we have the right to play.
Open source, and decentralised politics is how I want my reality to look like. Borders are only lines drawn in the sand.
We create our own rules together, everybody must be critical of them and debunk the bullshit.
[My identity contains more blank pages, as it is always growing]
