I am an educator and artist, studying how to convey the knowledge of the recently vanished, through sensorial, performative and symbiotic happenings.
Through arts education practice my goal is to convey permeability, constant flux and co-dependences of organic matter.
Currently I work as an administrative clerk in a storage facility for recently extinct flora. My role in the facility is to oversee and annotate any potential signs of disapearance of organic matter we attempt to store and preserve. This requires me to notice and log almost imperceptible changes both in the facility and the archived material. Working intuitively, responding to sensitivities in my own body and condition, surprisingly became a better bureaucratic tool then arduously logging end-data when trying to sustain memories of bio-diversity.
Joining this working group I would like to find out how instiutions can foster the development of tangible knowledge, to further sensitivity opening crucial micro-horizons in research in all areas of study.
