Esch (50 y.o., Berlin & Palermo) has been working at the intersection of technology and creativity for the past 20+ years. Her passion lies in audiovisual science communication that takes up physical space. Somewhere along the spectrum of artistic approaches to well designed data visualizations.
Esch also works as a researcher and lecturer with a focus on the accessibility and emotional value of visualizations. How can data be less abstract than numbers in an excel sheet? How can you smell, feel and hear data? (I spent 3 months in 2038 at Poly Flows to do further research on this)
She joined the hacktivist group SLANTI in 2031 after a weekend visit to Flanders, publishing documents on ongoing climate corruption but also historic data of the past 50 years.
