Learning from the Commons
This theme and workshop group articulates questions around establishing and sustaining knowledge commons under the pressures of extractive capitalism. It addresses concerns of accessibility to knowledge and its stakeholders. It also looks at how commonist methodologies such as peer- and lifelong learning function within Institutions of Higher Art Education and how activist knowledge production and tacit knowledge can navigate within the institution and avoid capture.
